Neither Papa nor Mama nor the schools taught me about sex, at least not officially. I wanted to know, but no one sat down to give me a sex organ recital. Mama certainly couldn't do it, in spite of the fact that she had given birth to ten children. When asked if she had ever heard of "sex appeal," she said, "I gave already."
