Keys to creatures which leave slime trails:

1) Less than 1 foot in length or height (go to 2)

1') More than 1 foot in length or height (go to 3)

2) Has a shell......Snail

2') Has no shell.....Slug

3) Has at least a small backbone...Lawyer

3') Lacks a backbone entirely.......Politician
