Progress

Maryland's "Eastern Shore" is primarily flat and lies between a Bay and the Ocean. Ever since the 50's, landowners and farmers have been filling in low lying areas for construction & farming.

Recently, Maryland got a Federal Grant of umpteen million dollars to take some of these filled-in areas and create "Wetlands" -- (aka "swamps") and we call this progress.
