The Frog Prince

When my Granddaughter was about nine, my wife was telling her the fable of the princess and the frog. The one where the Princess let the frog spend the nite in her room, and in the morning, he turned into a handsome Prince.

Our Granddaughter looked at my wife dubiously. She asked the girl, "What's the matter, don't you believe the story honey?"

"No !" replied our Granddaughter, "And I'll bet the Princess' Mother didn't either."
