On the Beach

A woman was floating in the Mediterranean Sea toward the French coast. A Frenchman drew her on the beach. She was unconscious. The saviour ran away to get help. When he returned to the nearly-drowned lady, lying on the beach, he spots a man lying on top of the woman, trying to "do it."

"Hey," shouts the Frenchman. "What are you doing! She nearly drowned, is unconscious and you are..."

"I'm sorry," said the man, standing up. "I thought she was American."
