Tip of the Day
Everyone, at the beginning of a romance, lies. You have to. It's a way of covering your insecurities and presenting yourself in the best light possible.
But every lie is a "debt" you eventually have to pay back. This is why it's a good idea to keep track of all your lies in a notebook. Because the only thing worse than lying is forgetting you lied and being called on it.
Eventually, you will have to consolidate all your lies under one big Umbrella Lie. Try this one:
"When we first met, I was taking an experimental hay fever drug called Alledrone, and one of the side effects is an overactive imagination. So, I might have told you I once drummed for Pearl Jam, but that's because I really believed I drummed for Pearl Jam. The stuff just makes me lie. It's not my fault. It's Parke Davis'."
