LowComDom Performances Presents
I am a member of a couple of groups dedicated to Digital Photography. All of them state unequivocally in the list rules that you are supposed to remain on-topic.
I think it makes a lot of sense. I mean, if you want to announce that it's your birthday, there are tons of general conversation groups.
So, this American lady posted that she went to a lake, stood on a rocky outcrop to take photos from a certain angle (on-topic), but then she slipped, fell, and bruised her arm badly.
The group went all, "Oh, I'm sorry" and "Hope you recover quickly" et all. All off-topic, of course.
As for me, I asked the only question on-topic: "Is the camera all right?"
However, instead of being complimented for being on-topic and mentioned as a shining example of compliance with the list's rules, everybody is calling me an insensitive jerk.
