Don't you get the Cow-Team advisories? That was a known bug, and you need patch 41 to fix it.

Hi! I'm doing a science fair project on genetic engineering of cows, and I wanted to know which version of CowDrugs to use. Should I just download the free one? Or get my dad to buy it? Which one for sale is best? I don't have much barn space, so I need a version that isn't too big.
