 Where's Svlad? - Revelations

Shortly after the boys returned from the desert, they received a phone call from LowComDom Founder and President Biff Pondwater. He had chartered a jet that would pick them up at the San Jose Del Cabo airport. They needed to get to the airport and sit tight.

The problem in Cabo is that you don't arrive and rent a car. You have pre-arranged ground transportation that knows when you are supposed to come and go. Bugging out early was going to be a problem. The boys solved this by having dinner.

Moockie is the best actor in the group. There are people in the Sillycon Valley whom Moockie would love to see under the wheels of a semi tractor trailer with a full load of dog shit, who don't even know it. (They think he likes them.) At dinner Trouble rubbed a little pepper juice around Moockie's eyes, just in case he couldn't fake a few tears.

Next, at the hotel Concierge, Moockie told a long sob story about needing to race home to keep his sister from marrying an unscrupulous Venture Capitalist. Luckily, this sounded horrible to the old lady behind the desk. "Oh dear, we'd better get a van out here. Do your friends need to go with you?"

After getting to the airport and having a drink. Trouble decided the guys should put on "their good clothes" because the boss was coming. Mongo noted that he didn't bring any good clothes.

Trouble Asleep
Once aboard the plane, Trouble nodded off.

Plane
Moockie noticed another plane flying just off their plane's wing tip.

The group was supposed to be headed for San Jose.
And that's just where they went...

San Jose, Costa Rica.

Safe House
Would you feel safe in this house?

After a day of sitting around a safe house, strange people starting arriving. Mongo was told to stop taking pictures. Finally, everyone gathered at a local bar. Privacy was needed so Mongo cleared the room by offering table dances to all the patrons.

Biff entered the room and dropped a bomb. Previous to starting LowComDom, Biff had worked for the CIA. Many in the room already knew this, Mongo had to know, otherwise he wouldn't have known to drop Biff's name with the American Consulate. Others had only suspected since they had never been allowed to take Biff's picture. What no one but Biff knew, was that Svlad had been Biff's Protege. (Kind of a Junior Spook.)

During their days at the Agency, Biff and Svlad had made an enemy or two. One such person was Richard Head, a field agent who used a dragonfly symbol as his calling card. Biff and Richard never got along, partially because they worked in different parts of the Agency with opposing goals, but mostly because of Biff's insistence on using a less formal version of Head's first name.

The Dragonfly Card

As Trouble, Mongo, and Moockie had been bugging out of Cabo, Dexter had arrived to do a security sweep. He found Head's dragonfly card. Clearly, it was meant to be found. Biff surmised that Svlad had been taken as a prize to get attention. Head would probably treat him well, but had "uncomfortable" plans for Biff's future. The Master Spies were about to play a game of chess.

The boys from Cabo were sent back to North America for de-briefing, and defense training. Dexter and Biff remained in Costa Rica to plan the next move.
