Checkers Walks

Richard Nixon's dog "Checkers" may finally be laid to rest next to her old master. The dog is currently buried in Long Island, NY. The original plan was to bury Nixon next to Checkers, but the pet cemetery owners objected, saying "Hey, we've got an image to keep up here." (Jim Barach WTVH Syracuse, NY)
