You know, there's a reason why everyone in America does a Jack Nicholson impression. That's because deep down, everyone wants to be Jack.

This is a fair to middling movie, save for Jack, who yanks it out of obscurity, and makes you want to watch every moment. Jack is just that good.

Will Randall (Jack) is a publishing editor. He's getting up there in age. He's not a boat rocker. Then one night, he's bitten by a wolf out in the middle of nowhere, and the fun begins.

Hmmm, someone seems to be trying to push Jack out of the way at work. Going to get him sent off to Bosnia. Bad idea. Jack now is now Wolfman Jack and can hear through walls, and smell your breath 100 feet away. If you're not on his side, you're going to be Purina Wolf Chow soon.

Of course, there's a love story here. The boss' daughter is fair game, even if she's 20 years younger. Oh, how women are attracted to old farts, especially when they're Jack.

OK, other than the really lame ending, you'll like this one ... if you like Jack. If you don't like Jack, maybe a Woody Allen film wold be appropriate?
