I was blown away when I went to go see What Planet Are You From? and found that after about two weeks, it was already out of the theatres. This film had a great trailer. I really wanted to see it.

I patiently waited for the DVD to come out, and now all is clear. This is a really crappy movie. This film seriously needs to be beaten with a funny stick. After the set up, it just doesn't work. Here's a golden opportunity to make a comedy about the differences between men and women and they just blew it!

Think of all the obvious gags about men and women, they're not there. Just think out how funny it would have been if there had been a shot of the alien reading Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus. Nope it's not there. And that's why the audience, too, was not there.
