Film Review - Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead

Imagine a gangster who went straight, and had a heart of gold, who helped the disadvantaged. Yeah, I don't believe it either. Without being able to believe this premise, this movie makes no sense. I'm not one to think that a leopard can change its spots.

This is a comedy of errors in many ways. Gangster needs favor from ex-gangster. Ex-gangster hires crew of screw ups. Job is botched. Gangster marks everyone for death. This is where "normal" people would catch the first flight some where else. Nope, our ex-gangster decides to stick around and help a battered hooker, give money to the idiots who screwed up the job, etc.

Nothing in the movie makes sense. Step away from the screen.
