Film Review - Smile Like Yours, A
There are many films that just don't have a chance at the box office. A Smile Like Yours is certainly one of them. Now don't get me wrong. I ask not your pity for this film. It didn't deserve to open on 2,000 screens nation wide. It's a small film that has nothing special about it. It's one of those "Everyone makes an assumption that leads to wacky comedy" movie, sans the comedy.
Greg Kinnear is a elevator installer who has a beautiful boss who wants to get into his tool belt. Lauren Holly is is nympho wife who creates a perfume for women that turns their husbands into horn dogs. (Sure, like that is hard to do!) Oh yeah, they can't get pregnant. Did I mention that? Cuz, it's always funny when nymphos can't get knocked up. (Comedy Rule No. 2001.)
Yawn! This was very boring. If I hadn't seen it at 35,000 feet, I would have stepped out of the theater.
