 Film Review - Seven

Grim. This is a grim movie. It's so grim that you might actually believe it could happen.

Not a classic cops and robber movie, Seven is an investigative chase film where the villain kills his victims using the seven deadly sins (Pride, Sloth, Anger, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, Greed). Looks like Morgan Freeman chose the wrong day to retire.

There's a big "break" that the cops get, or else this story would just fall on its face. But that aside, the hook here is the very graphic crime scenes. This ain't your normal fake-blood-caked-on-the-walls stuff; this is the sort of stuff you see when you watch surgery videos (which is why it is so disturbing and grim.)

The ending will amaze and frighten you. It comes out of left field, and you won't predict it.

Jammed Pipe!
