Film Review - Pluto Nash

The trouble with Eddie Murphy movies is that you don't know if you're going to get something good, or a complete stink burger. Pluto Nash: Stink Burger!

The film takes place on the moon, but you'd never guess this as there was only one place on the moon that had one sixth gravity. If that wasn't un-even enough, the film doesn't know if it wants to be an action film or a comedy. It becomes neither.

Pluto Nash is an ex-con who goes straight by opening a night club. The local heavies come in to buy him out. When he refuses, they blow up the club. So we have this movie that supposed to be Eddie Murphy getting back at the mob. Well that could be a good movie. But it didn't turn out that way.

Add Murphy's wise-cracks, and the two dimensionality of the characters and Pluto Nash really blows. No one is believable in this film. Not even the clone who is exactly the same age and has all the memories.

There's just nothing nice to say about this movie. So I'll shut up and go see something else. I suggest you do the same.

Sucks and Blows!
