Please! Have Mercy! Don't watch this film! Mercy is a mediocre murder mystery. A serial killer is murdering women, cleaning the bodies and cutting off the eyelids. Detective Catherine Palmer (Ellen Barkin) who leads the investigation uncovers a group of social elite women involved in a secret lesbian club. All of the women who have been killed have been members of this club. Palmer's investigation leads her into the lesbian club, which also intersects an S&M community, and finally a psychologist who likes to cross-dress after hours.

That is everything that is good about this film. It ain't much, is it? In fact, if you remove the titillation of the alternative lifestyles, this is a very piss-poor detective film. Even when you figure out who did it, you never really understand why. The film is a writing and editing disaster!

Skip this! You want to see weird stuff? There's plenty of weird films out there. Some of them are better written.
