Film Review - Ishtar
I'm sure someone in L.A. also said, "Who would have thought that this many great names could make such a shitty film?" I had heard of Ishtar, I had been warned away, but it was on HBO and, well, you know how hard it is to turn away from a car wreck? First you're curious, then you're horrified. That was much like my reaction to this film.
I pity Richard P. Cirincione, William Reynolds and Stephen A. Rotter, who edited the film. Editing requires one to watch the picture over and over. I would only wish perpetual screenings of Ishtar on my worst enemy.
