Film Review - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Nazis ... why couldn't it have been Nazis?
Jones is back, grosser than ever, but not better than he was in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indy's new adventure is to find three rocks and keep his heart inside his chest cavity. Oh, yeah, don't eat too many of the bugs.
Temple of Doom misses the mark. It wanders away from what Indiana Jones should be doing, fighting Nazis and using his brain to piece together ancient puzzles to find buried treasure.
Well, he finds the rocks, gets possessed, and forgets to wear his seat belt on the roller coaster ride. The value here is that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas will learn what they did wrong for the next Indy adventure.
