Film Review - Henry V
A masterpiece of film making! If Kenneth Branagh can't get you to realize how good Shakespeare is, no one can.
Young Henry is advised by his counsel to make his claim for the crown of France. Henry has been a green youth, but through this year of battle, we see a maturing monarch who dispenses charity in his victories, and swift justice to those who would violate his strict law.
Do you like action and adventure? Shakespeare wrote lots of sex and violence in all his plays. He wrote for the common people. So why is it only the high-brow hoity-toity know about him in our era? If you like Indiana Jones movies, you will love this!
This film is beautifully photographed and tightly edited.
