 Film Review - Ghostbusters

If you're seeing things in your Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!

Ivan Reitman has done what no one to date has done. He's focused Bill Murray's energies so well, that this is a tight comedy, and Murray is a big piece of the action. Not a bad trick when you consider that most of Murray's films have been all over the place, and not as good as this.

Murray and company get kicked out of the university where they were scamming their lives away. But when a couple of ghosts show up, they find a business to build, and the comedy builds.

Every character is complete and has their moments in the spotlight. Annie Potts is particularly great in a supporting role. There is, however, a slight moment in the story where Sigourney Weaver and Bill Murray get off on the wrong foot. It feels like an editing mistake.

Ghostbusters is a very funny movie fulled with one-liners and special effects. And it is unusual, but it does have an action movie ending.

Slight Suction!
