Film Review - Fallen

Time was not on my side when I sat through this piece of crap. Fallen I'm sure had every intention of being a good film, but the the path to Hell is paved with those. This pathetic little celluloid abomination is slow, it ignores its most interesting character, and bores the audience to death.

The story involves John Hobbes (Denzel Washington), a cop who has just put away a killer and seen the killer executed. With the criminal dead, new victims begin to appear with the dead crook's MO.

So in the investigation of these killings, Hobbes discovers a fallen angel who's the real killer (does O.J. know about this?) OK, there's one really great scene where the angel surrounds Hobbes on a street by moving from body to body. But that doesn't save this film.

Fallen is structured so the first scene and the last are the same. As the last scene began, I was heard by many in the theater to say, "Oh, thank God, the movie is over." I think that sums up my feelings about Fallen.

Sucks and Blows!
