Film Review - Bourne Supremacy, The

Quick! Someone give me a Dramamine! I'm going to hurl!

It's not that the movie is bad (it is). It's that the director apparently hired a first year film student to operate the camera. The frame is constantly being shaken around the set. Shots are out of focus. This movie is a mess.

The "wandering eye" effect always had the flaw that in real life your eye wanders naturally to compensate for its blind spot. The brain compensates. But in film the brain can't compensate because it didn't tell the camera to move. The result is hard to watch, especially the car chases.

Then there's the lack of interesting plot. Jason Bourne is found in India. His girl friend is killed. He starts hunting people from the CIA. Yawn!

Wait for this one to come out on video and then rent something else.
