Film Review - Batman
Young Bruce Wayne witnesses the murder of his parents after attending the theater in Gotham City. Master Bruce inherits the Wayne fortune and Alfred the butler.
Bruce is very traumatized by this, but instead of seeking professional help, he takes on the persona of Batman, the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader.
Well, that's all nice and good on Halloween, but Brucy still has a problem. He's anti-social, can't keep a girlfriend, and has really shitty taste in furniture.
Enter Jack, a major hood in Gotham who gets dropped into a bunch of chemicals and becomes the Joker. The Joker completely steals this movie. But then, did Jack ever play second fiddle to anyone?
Cool photography. Very rarely does an American film work in such dark light. The editing has the standard 20 minutes that need to be ripped out.
If you need a party movie, or you just want to put your brain on hold, this might work. But to be honest, not only does this movie completely suck, it's very close to blowing!
